Kingdom Hearts Final Mix introduces new missions to complete while navigating the Gummi Ship between worlds. Each world on the World Map has three missions to offer, and they generally increase in difficulty. Completing mission objectives will provide awards like special gummi blocks and gummi ship blueprints. To access the Gummi Ship missions on the World Map, press the

While flying in the purple warp path, stay near the top of the screen to avoid most of the obstacles, and move left/right as need to avoid enemy ships. Be sure to take out the small blue asteroids and pick up any PWR blocks that you see. Ultima-G lasers will rebound to hit multiple targets, so wait until the lasers dissipate before firing again. MISSION STRATEGY: Try to time firing your lasers when ships are grouped together, and reserve your Osmose-G for when there's a PWR block to pick up (or if there are many spoils out of reach). Do your best to maneuver your ship into spoils to pick them up so that you can save your PWR units. Use your lasers sparingly in the asteroid field section; as long as you have ~100 points by the time you reach the large purple asteroid with the hole in it, you're doing fine. Try to save at least 3-4 PWR units for the next section. In the section with the multi-colored stick obstacles, use your thunder bullets to destroy stick obstacles and your laser weapons to clear out enemy ships (and hold the brake to gain more time!). Use your Osmose-G to scoop up PWR blocks that you find. Don't worry about firing at the large white Omega ships; just navigate around them by moving in a large clockwise circle, then use all your remaining weapon power on the remaining asteroids and enemy ships. ▶ WATCH VIDEO

Use your Osmose-G to scoop up spoils, but save at least 2 PWR units in your gauge at all times. Try to reach at least 230 points before reaching the large purple asteroid with the hole in the center. In the section with the multi-colored stick obstacles, hold the brake and use your thunder bullets to destroy stick obstacles and your laser weapons to clear out enemy ships. Don't bother trying to destroy the large white Omega ships, just maneuver around them in a wide circle; after passing them, use all your remaining firepower to destroy all the enemy ships and collect their spoils. ▶ WATCH VIDEO
